Nanette Zumwalt

Nanette is the President/CEO of Hired Power and has worked in the mental health field and addiction recovery for over two decades. Under Mrs. Zumwalt’s care and leadership Hired Power has taken the pioneering role in treating addiction in adolescents, young adults and adults during the high risk and very important transition periods of long term recovery. Hired Power has established and provides professional services, with a gender specific focus, to clients and families. Mrs. Zumwalt is a strong advocate for families struggling with addiction. Her personal passion for recovery stems from addiction within her own family, she has participated in interventions for several of her own loved ones. Her professional achievements include management positions in national therapeutic schools, recovery programs and psychiatric hospitals. She speaks nationally to professionals; she has been noted in newspapers and featured in several magazine articles as an industry expert. Nanette has received several community service awards including an award in 2007 from Assemblyman Jim Morrisey. Mrs. Zumwalt is a Nationally Board Registered Interventionist, level II, a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) and a Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP). She has been a past board member and is a current participating Member of the Association of Intervention Specialists trained in and practicing several different intervention models. Her team is an excellent resource with in-depth knowledge of current trends in the substance abuse and mental health treatment field.
